A Canadian country favourite is bringing his drive-in concert to the Ottawa area, and the shows are selling out fast.
The Richmond Agricultural Society and our country station Country 101.1 are presenting Brett Kissel's 'Ottawa's Night-Out' Drive-In Style.
Kissel is putting on three shows on Saturday at the Richmond Fairgrounds; he'll hit the stage at 1 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., and two of the three are already sold out.
“It was a no-brainer for me and my team to select Ottawa,” Kissel tells 1310 NEWS. “Partnering up with the Richmond ag-society (sic) to use the fairgrounds as our host venue is also going to be very, very unique so we can keep with the tradition of a great fall country music concert in the Ottawa area.”
The 8:30 p.m. show sold out in under 30 minutes, leading the Richmond Agricultural Society to add additional shows. The 4:30 p.m. slot is also sold out as of Friday morning, leaving just the 1 p.m. on sale for vehicle passes.
