Ottawa fire crews are tackling a large fire at a Tomlinson recycling facility west of Kanata.
According to Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) the building, on west Hunt Drive, near Carp Road, is fully involved.
Crews are currently working to protect surrounding structures and fuel tanks in the area, and tanker vehicles are shuttling water from a nearby hydrant.
Firefighters are trying to extinguish the fire from above with aerial ladders set up on all sides of the structure, and are using a foam extinguishing agent to smother the flames.

West Hunt Drive is closed at Carp Road and the westbound ramp to Carp Road from Highway 417 is also closed, so expect heavy traffic delays in the area while crews work to contain the fire.
Tomlinson says all staff are safe and accounted for.
