Pedestrian killed in Bells Corners crash

A pedestrian has died after a collision in Bells Corners.

Ottawa police were called to the scene around 4:30 a.m. on Friday, January 7.

The collision happened near the intersection of Moodie Drive and Old Richmond Road, near the COVID-19 assessment centre.

Paramedics say a 60-year-old woman was taken to Queensway Carleton Hospital in critical condition, but eventually succumbed to her injuries.

Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
