More drop-in COVID-19 vaccination appointments available in Ottawa

Ottawa Public Health (OPH) is letting more people get vaccinated against COVID-19 without an appointment, but says booking a time in advance is still the best bet for getting your shot.
As of Wednesday, January 12, community clinics in Ottawa will offer drop-ins to everyone who is eligible for their first, second or third dose of COVID-19 vaccines.
Drop-in vaccinations will be available at:
- EY Centre
- Nepean Sportsplex
- Former St. Patrick's Intermediate School
- Rideauview Community Centre
- University of Ottawa – Minto Sports Complex
- J.H. Putman School
- Eva James Memorial Centre
- Orleans Ruddy Family YMCA/YWCA
OPH cautions that drop-in capacity will not be guaranteed, and that your best bet to minimize wait times is to book an appointment through Ontario's online vaccination booking portal.
