Sens skills competition set for Jan. 8 of next year

The Ottawa Senators announced the return of the fun and fan-friendly skills competition which is set to take place at the Canadian Tire Centre on Sunday, Jan. 8, at noon.

Sens Skills will see the Senators split into two squads to compete head-to-head in various skill events including the puck control relay, fastest skater, hardest shot, accuracy shooting, skills challenge and a three-on-three competition.

The Senators will donate proceeds from this year's event to support educational initiatives in the region, the Senators Community Foundation and the NHLPA Goals and Dreams Fund.

Tickets to Sens Skills will go on sale Friday, Nov. 25, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased by visiting ticketmaster.ca.
