Police seeking to identify man involved in hit and run

Ottawa police are looking to identify a suspect in a hit and run that left one person seriously injured.

Around 10 p.m. on Dec. 14, a road rage incident led to two men engaging in an altercation. Police say a passenger attempted to stop the altercation and was struck by the driver of the other vehicle before fleeing the scene. The passenger was left with serious injuries.

The incident took place on the 1000 block of Palladium Drive near Cyclone Taylor Boulevard. 

Police are looking to identify the driver of a red, four door Jeep Wrangler, possible with a Quebec licence plate. The driver is described as a white male in his 40s.
