Heroin and weapons found in Spencerville home, just off 416

Four people have been arrested and charged after police uncovered drugs and weapons at a David Street address in Spencerville, just north of Prescott, off Highway 416.
A search warrant was carried out on Friday, February 15, at around 6.a.m.
Sarah Brownrigg, 30, of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township, is charged with:
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance – Heroin
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Careless storage of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm knowing the serial number has been tampered with
- Possession of prohibited firearm.
William Baker, 39, of Brockville, is charged with:
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance – Heroin
- Possession of a firearm contrary to a probation order (2 counts)
- Fail to comply with probation order.
Shawn McCormack, 26, of Brockville, is charged with:
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance – Heroin
- Fail to comply with probation order.
Andrew Newton, 19, of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township, is charged with:
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance – Heroin
- Fail to comply with recognizance
Newton was held in custody for bail court, while the remaining three accused were released on promises to appear before the Brockville Ontario Court of Justice on Tuesday, February 19.
