Police looking for convicted offender who could be in the Ottawa area

Provincial police are asking people to keep an eye out for a federal offender who is wanted Canada-wide, after he breached his release order.

Mathieu Kingsley is serving a two-year and one-day sentence for multiple offences including theft and fraud under $5,000, break and enter and theft over $5,000.

Officers say he is known to frequent Hawkesbury, L’Orignal, Cornwall and Ottawa, as well as several Quebec communities.

The convicted offender is described as white, 36 years old, 5’10” in height and has brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone who sees Kingsley is asked to call provincial police.
