Hawkesbury teen charged after police uncover $118K worth of MDMA, oxy, LSD, more

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) is charging a young man from Hawkesbury after a large drug bust.
Officers reported on Wednesday, July 21, that they uncovered amounts of MDMA, xanax, oxycodone, hydromorphone, LSD, DMT, clonazepam, psilocybin, hydrocodone and illicit cannabis.
All together, the drugs are estimated to have a street value of $118,000.
Louka BERARD, 19, is facing the following charges:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule 1
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule 4
- Possession of Cannabis for the purpose of selling Cannabis Act
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on August 18, 2021.
