Over 460 drivers have been arrested for impaired driving from alcohol in 2022

Impaired driving arrests related to alcohol have greatly succeeded last year's numbers according to new data from the Ottawa Police Service (OPS).
So far in 2022, the OPS said 463 drivers have been arrested for impaired driving from alcohol. In 2021, 375 drivers were arrested for impaired driving from alcohol.
Sixty eight drivers have been arrested for impaired driving from drugs so far in 2022, while in 2021, 72 drivers were arrested for impaired driving from drugs in 2021.
In 2022, 114 drivers have been in the warning range compared to the 83 drivers in 2021.
The number of drivers arrested for impaired related offences continues to climb
