Highway crash in North Stormont construction zone injures two men

Two men have been injured in a two-vehicle collision in North Stormont Township.

Around 4:32 p.m. Tuesday, provincial police responded to the crash on the westbound Highway 417, near Casselman.

According to police, a westbound tractor trailer collided with a stationary MTO crash truck in a construction zone.

The lone male driver of the tractor trailer and the lone male driver of the stationary vehicle were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
