Power restored for more than 2,700 in Somerset, Kitchissippi, Capital wards

Update,11:28 a.m., Tuesday: Power has been restored to all Hydro Ottawa customers in the Somerset, Kitchissippi and Capital areas.

More than 2,700 Hydro Ottawa customers are without power after a few outages in Somerset, Kitchissippi and Capital wards.
The first outage was reported around 9:12 a.m. in the Bayswater Avenue area.
A couple more outages popped up, north of Dow's Lake, at 9:31 a.m. and 9:35 a.m.
The largest chunk of the city without power is in Somerset. Power went out for 1,773 Hydro Ottawa customers in that area at 9:35 a.m.
The utility is investigating the cause of the outages and is working to have electricity restored by 12 p.m.
