Second shooting on Ritchie Street in five days, home sustains damage

Ottawa police confirm to 1310 NEWS that another shooting has taken place this week on Ritchie Street.

Officers say they received numerous calls about shots fired Wednesday morning at 1:52 a.m.

No injuries are being reported, but a house in the 100 block of Ritchie Street sustained damage.

No arrests have been made.

On Saturday, police say shots were fired at a residence at 11:40 p.m. in the same block of Ritchie Street.

Police are investigating both incidents. It's not known if the two shootings are related.
