Ottawa fire crews tackle early morning blaze at building under construction

Ottawa fire crews were called to a building that was under construction in Gloucester after receiving reports of smoke.
At 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters arrived at 2280 City Park Drive, north of Highway 174, to a fire in an industrial dumpster located in the basement of the structure.
The building was unoccupied at the time of the incident but crews say smoke was also accumulating in an adjoining high rise.
A fire investigator is not being called in to determine the cause.
