Driver charged in Highway 174 fatal crash

One of the drivers involved in a fatal collision on Highway 174 has now been charged.
Two vehicles collided on the 174 near Kinsella Drive, around 2:43 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15. The 65-year-old driver of one of the vehicles involved was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) announced on Thursday, Sept. 21 that a 33-year-old from Ottawa is being charged in connection to the crash.
The accused faces one charge each of dangerous driving causing death and failure to comply with a demand causing death, and is being held in custody.
