OPP charges Rockland, Ont. resident with more sex crimes against minors

Provincial police say a man who is already facing charges before the courts for sex crimes against minors was arrested again on Tuesday.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say that officers executed a search warrant in Ottawa and arrested a man for a historical sexual assault and child luring investigation.

Police have charged Michael Woloschuk, 44, with three counts of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age, three counts of sexual interference, two counts of luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication and failing to comply with a release order.

Woloschuk was remanded in custody and scheduled for a bail hearing on March 12.

He was previously charged with similar offences in August 2023. Those charges remain before the courts.
