‘Serious collision’ between cyclist and vehicle, police seeking video

A cyclist in their 30s was critically injured after a collision with a vehicle in Stittsville on Tuesday.
It happened just before 5 p.m. at the residential all-way stop intersection at Harry Douglas Drive and Sweetnam Drive, police say.
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) said the cyclist sustained critical injuries as a result. They were transported to hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the involved vehicle did not suffer any injuries.
Police’s Fatal Collisions Investigations Unit is asking for witnesses and video footage of the incident. Police say this specific unit is responsible for investigating collisions that result in serious injuries or fatalities.
