Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash on Hwy. 174

Police are hoping members of the public can help piece together what happened in a serious collision on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to Highway 174 near Blair Road in the city’s east end for a single-vehicle crash at 2:30 p.m.. The driver, a motorcyclist, was sent to hospital in life-threatening condition, where they remain, officials said in a press release.

Police are hoping people who witnessed the incident can come forward or if they have dashcam footage.

Anyone with information should contact the Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.
