BARRIE, Ont. – A 44-year-old Barrie, man will spend nine months in jail for trying to lure teen girls using the Internet.
Five high school girls went to police last fall after a stranger began texting them with explicit and sexually suggestive messages.
Richard Sanders was arrested in November after police traced the messages to his cellphone and computer.
He was sentenced Friday.
Sanders got the students’ cellphone numbers from their Facebook sites.
