Canadian among dead in New Zealand earthquake

A Canadian woman is among the dead from last month’s killer earthquake in New Zealand.
Authorities released a list Wednesday which includes 60-year-old French-Canadian Marielle Falardeau among the dead in Christchurch.
An Australian newspaper reports she’d been in the city while on vacation with her sister when the magnitude-6.3 quake hit and killed at least 166 people.
Marie-Noelle Falardeau tells the paper they were due to leave for the Montreal the very next day.
