Parents dropping off their kids at school Tuesday may find the front door locking behind them.
More than 80 percent of Ontario schools have adopted new security features in the wake of the Newtown school tragedy.
Some 2,400 schools have implemented front door buzzers, locked doors and security cameras after getting funding from the province earlier this year.
That means parents stopping by during the day to drop off a lunch, for example, will need to be buzzed in by office staff.
