Motorcyclist to be laid to rest Saturday

A 54-year-old Ottawa man – killed in a motorcycle crash last weekend – will be laid to rest tomorrow.

Visitation for Mike Jefferies will be held at the Kelly Funeral Home on St. Joseph Boulevard tonight from 6 p.m. to 9p.m.

There will also be a motorcycle procession at 1:30 p.m. at Kelly Funeral Home.

His funeral is set for tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 at Bikers Church on Carillon Street in Vanier .

Meantime….Ottawa Police are still hoping anyone who witnessed the fatal crash to contact them.

Mike was killed when his Yamaha motorcycle collided with a minivan, on St.Laurent Boulevard near the transitway Saturday.
