About Chris

Born and raised in Montreal, Chris always wanted to be a sports broadcaster but never thought it would be possible. He studied Civil Engineering for a few years and obtained a technical degree, however decided engineering was not the right fit for him, and chose to pursue Broadcasting in Toronto at the College of Sports Media. During his studies, he did live events for York University, and spent a year doing Closed Captioning for the Fight Network. Upon graduating, Chris moved to the nation’s capital for an internship before joining the 1310 News team as the weekend anchor and weekday reporter. In Ottawa, he also finds the time to do play by play and colour commentary for Basketball and Football at the University of Ottawa, as well as running graphics for the horse-racing at Rideau Carleton Raceway. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports and going bowling, a sport he was National Champion at the age of 12 and a former member of Team Canada.
