One man in critical condition following ByWard Market stabbing

A daylight stabbing in the ByWard Market has wounded a man in his 40s.

The stabbing happened on Murray Street, near King Edward Avenue, around 11:30 a.m., Sunday.

Some nearby nurses provided first aid to the wounded man until paramedics arrived.

The man was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

So far, there's no word from police on whether anyone's been charged.
