CN train derails west of Kingston

A CN Rail train has derailed west of Kingston.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says the train derailed on the north and south side of the tracks in Amherstview.
The derailment is blocking Coronation Boulevard, between Golf Course Road and Amherst Drive, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
HAZARD: #NapaneeOPP #OPP – CN RAIL ADVISES THE TRAIN HAS DERAILED ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDE OF THE TRACKS. HAPPENED BETWEEN GOLF COURSE ROAD AND ANHERST DR. blocking CORONATION STREET. PLEASE AVOID THE AREA.

A statement to CityNews from the Canadian National Railway said crews responded to the incident Wednesday morning after a single railcar derailed.
There were no injuries, fire, or leaks and no dangerous goods were involved.
The cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
