COVID-19 outbreak declared at Lombard Manor in Lombardy

The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is working on an outbreak at the retirement residence Lombard Manor after it received a positive COVID-19 test.

The health unit isn’t sure if the positive case is among a staff member or resident of the manor.

The case was confirmed Sunday morning, but the health unit says once an outbreak is declared, it will not report on further cases or status of cases.

The home is located just 13 minutes south of Smiths Falls near Otter Lake.
