High risk offender taken into custody: Brockville Police

Brockville police apprehended a high risk offender the evening of Saturday, Dec. 10, thanks to what police describe as “a great deal of cooperation” from the community.
Eugene Soucy was the subject of a high risk offender alert issued by Brockville police on Dec. 7. Police received a tip from a youth, leading to an investigation revealing the accused was in breach of his release conditions.
Soucy is charged with breaching a prohibition order and is now in custody following a bail hearing.
Brockville police thank the entire community for their assistance, particularly those involved in the investigation leading to the charges against Soucy.
