Interzip after dark: Ottawa’s newest attraction expanding its hours

By Alex Black

Starting this weekend, you can take a zipline between Ottawa and Gatineau after the sun goes down.

Due to high demand, the agency behind Interzip Rogers has decided to expand the hours of the attraction, both during the week and on weekends.

“We have been blown away by the demand and wanted to ensure everyone could have their chance to soar above the Ottawa River this summer,” said Alex Van Dieren, co-president at Orkestra.

As of Saturday, July 24, the new hours of operation are:

  • Monday through Wednesday:  1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday and Friday: 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“Extending our hours into the dark will also provide a brand new and unique experience for our visitors. And if timed right, give a chance to riders to view the sunset or experience the Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy from the air,” says Van Dieren.

Tickets are $39.99 for adults and $29 for kids 12 and under.
