Ottawa man wanted in Kijiji scam

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public's assistance in finding a man wanted for 33 fraud-related charges for an online scam operated since September 2018.
Police received complaints last year about a person who was advertising collectible toys for sale using Kijiji. The individual would direct potential buyers to send an e-mail cash transfer to purchase items. The email transfer would be collected by the suspect but no items were ever given in return.
The accused, 40-year-old Patrick Vaudrin, is described as:
- A caucasian male
- Measuring 5’10 and weighing 210 pounds
- Has brown hair, blue eyes and wears glasses
