The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) stopped 1,150 vehicles during a 'Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere' (RIDE) program over the weekend.
The OPS set up seven RIDE checks across the city last weekend (Dec. 9 to Dec. 11).
Two drivers were issued three-day licence suspensions for testing within the warning range.
We were happy to see a lot of people choosing to keep our roads safe by taking a taxi, ride share or choosing a Designated Driver. (2/2)
