Ottawa woman celebrating $100K Encore win

Nicole Coderre of Ottawa is $100,000 richer after playing Encore with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
Coderre matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order on the July 16 Lottario draw to win her prize.
A mother and grandmother, Coderre said she was at her brother and sister in law's for dinner when she mentioned she had to stop on the way home to check her lottery ticket.
“My sister-in-law used the OLG app to check the ticket and she said I won $100,” she said. “I looked myself and when I saw the Big Winner screen, I realized I won $100,000!”
She said it took the wind right out of her.
“I almost fainted and started crying tears of joy,” she added. “Everyone else started to cry too and we all hugged and celebrated together.”
Coderre has plans to pay some bills and then invest the remainder of her win.
The winning ticket was purchased at a Mac's on Montreal Road in Vanier.
