The Eastern Ontario Health Unit reported seven new cases on Sunday, while the Renfrew County and District Health Unit reported only one. The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit, on the other hand, had no new cases to report.

OPH hasn’t reported any new outbreaks in the city, but five outbreak statuses at childcare centres and schools have ended (there are now nine ongoing). There continues to be two ongoing outbreaks in the community, but no outbreaks in healthcare institutions.

The rate per 100,000 residents reported over the last seven days has dipped to 19.9 from Saturday’s 20.2.

The positivity rate continues to stay at 1.8 per cent.

Ontario Public Health reported 370 new cases across the province on Sunday, down slightly from Saturday’s 373.

There is one new death added to the tally, now bringing the provincial death toll to 9,846.

And in the last 24 hours, 480 more cases have resolved.

There is one more person in the ICU, bringing the total to 137, while one more patient was added to the ICU and put on a ventilator.

Of the patients in hospital but not in the ICU, 119 are unvaccinated, 36 are fully vaccinated and 12 are partially vaccinated.
