Pair of residents displaced by Overbrook townhouse fire

Two people are displaced after a fire at a townhouse on Presland Road in Overbrook.
Ottawa fire officials say it extinguished flames in a bedroom of the home, around 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 22.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to one room, and provided first aid to one resident before Ottawa paramedics arrived on the scene.
There's been no further word on injuries suffered in the incident.
Presland Road was closed from Lola Street and Whitton Place, but has since reopened.
The displaced residents are receiving victim services.
An investigator is en route to determine the cause of the fire.
