Police arrest three people in connection to ByWard Market homicide

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Homicide Unit has charged three people in connection to a homicide in the city's ByWard Market area. 

Around 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, police responded to a 9-1-1 call for a man shot on the 200 block of York Street.

The man who was shot succumbed to his injuries. 

This is the city's fourth homicide of the year. 

The three individuals will not be named at this time as the investigation continues, and the identity of the victim is not being released pending next of kin notification.
