Police search for 5 suspects after April assault

The Ottawa Police are searching for five suspects following an assault near the intersection of Metcalfe Street and Laurier Avenue West April 12.

Police say a group of three to five individuals were reportedly verbally harassing an individual when a bystander intervened. The bystander was then assaulted by members of the group.

Police are searching for the following five suspects.

Suspect #1 wore a face mask, dark clothing, grey shoes, black gloves, a scarf and a green baseball cap.

Suspect #2 wore sunglasses, dark pants with an orange top, gray shoes, a scarf and a green hat.

Suspect #3 wore a face mask, dark pants, blue and black jacket with a hoodie and dark shoes.

Suspect #4 wore a face mask, black pants, a red jacket with a hoodie, a dark baseball cap, and black gloves and black shoes.

Suspect #5 wore a face mask, dark clothing, a scarf, sunglasses and brown shoes.
