UPDATE: Power restored for more than 9,200 in south Ottawa

UPDATE: Power has been restored after 9,283 Hydro Ottawa customers were left in the dark for a few hours on Tuesday, May 25.

RESTORED: Power has been restored to most customers in the Albion, Rideau, Bank, Leitrim, Hunt Club areas, with 74 customers remaining.

Hydro Ottawa is working to restore power for 9,283 of its customers across Albion, Rideau, Bank, Leitrim, and Hunt Club Road area neighbourhoods.

The outage started at 11:31 a.m., Tuesday, May 25.

Hydro Ottawa says the problem is “equipment related.”

The estimated restoration time is 3 p.m.
