Shots fired on Heron Road

Gunfire brought police to a parking lot on Heron Road, Wednesday night, as they searched for the person responsible.

Police received multiple reports of gunshots in a parking lot on Heron Road, near Baycrest Drive.

No injuries have been reported, but police add that no suspects have been identified nor arrested.

Anyone with information about the gunfire is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5050 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800 222-TIPS (8477).
