By CityNews Ottawa

HOUR 1

The Monday edition of The Rob Snow Show kicks off with his take on Ottawa’s problem-plagued LRT Confederation Line and Dan McTeague, President, Canadians for Affordable Energy, who talks about the possibility of more hydro dams in Northern Ontario. Rob also welcomes Sean McKenney and Barry McLoughlin.

22:15“Health and safety are so important at the workplace and so often people just don't pay attention to it, it becomes just matter-of-fact, and that's the unfortunate thing because as a result then lives are lost as we saw at Eastway,” said Sean McKenney, President, Ottawa and District Labour Council.

HOUR 2

It’s the Talk Back Hour. As an organized group of demonstrators under the banner “Freedom Convoy 2022” embarks on a rolling protest across Canada in the name of opposing a federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate for cross-border truckers, Rob wants to know: Do you feel sympathy for the unvaccinated?

HOUR 3

During the final hour of Monday's show, Rob discusses tensions on the Ukraine border with weekly guest, Geoffrey Johnston, International Affairs columnist with the Kingston-Whig Standard.

“The Ukraine situation, what we're seeing today, is not surprising to me at all.”

He also welcomes Dave Sali, an editor with the Ottawa Business Journal to discuss Ottawa's booming million-dollar-plus 'luxury' home sales. Listen to the entire hour or tune in at 13:15 to hear that entire conversation below.
