The secret life of pets: Ottawa Humane Society’s latest webinar series exploring happiness of pets

By Dani-Elle Dubé

Are your pets happy?

We might not be able to read our pets' minds, but animal behaviour specialist Zazie Todd thinks she can at least decipher some of those barks and meows from your beloved fur babies for pet owners.

Starting in February, the Ottawa Humane Society (OHS) will be hosting a webinar series by Todd — a series the OHS said will get to the core of how to make pets happy and how to address common behavioural issues in cats and dogs.

“Having happier pets starts with giving your pets more and varied enrichment,” she explained. “There are many opportunities to stimulate our pets in every day life. I want to help people find those opportunities.”

The talk will involve a series of four webinars hosted by the author that cost $25 per webinar, or $90 to attend all four.

The webinars will run from the end of February to the end of March.
