Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers have charged three teenagers after a commercial property in Carleton Place was vandalized with 'racial in nature' graffiti according to the OPP.
On Feb. 25 at about 7:50 p.m., officers responded to reports of a group of young people vandalizing a building in the town of Carleton Place. Officers were able to locate and arrest the three individuals a short time later.
A 15-year-old and two 13-year-olds have been charged with one count each of mischief under $5,000 and public incitement of hatred.
The three teens are all scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth at a later date.
