Young boy rescued after falling down steep embankment in Orléans

Ottawa emergency crews have rescued a young boy who fell 30 feet down a steep embankment in Orléans.

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) and the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) responded to an area off Brookridge Crescent in Fallingbrook, where the boy was found at the bottom of the embankment.

The High Angle Rescue Team was dispatched to the scene, and the boy was rescued before being taken into the care of the Ottawa Paramedic Service.

Paramedics have confirmed to CityNews Ottawa, the young boy was transported to CHEO in serious condition.
