The Ottawa Gee-Gees beat the Carleton Ravens in a tight 2021 Panda Game on Saturday, October 2, and say the performance was in honour of Francis Perron.
The Gee-Gees defensive lineman passed away Saturday, September 18, shortly after the team's season opener on the road against the University of Toronto Varsity Blues.
The uOttawa football team won its annual cross-town rivalry game against the Ravens on a field goal, making for a 19-17 final score.

Perron, from Sherbrooke, Que., was a two-time U Sports academic All-Canadian studying mechanical engineering in his fifth year at the University of Ottawa. His cause of death has not been reported.
