Body found in Rideau River, identified

The Ottawa Police Service has identified a man, whose body was found floating in the Rideau River near Bordeleau Park.
A passer-by spotted the body around 8:40 a.m. on Friday, July 6.
Police are working to notify the family of the 44-year-old man.
He will not be identified publicly, as no foul play is suspected.
The police service is thanking the public and media for their assistance in the case.
