Handgun seized in Herongate area shooting

Ottawa Police have arrested two men after a shooting in the Herongate area.
According to police, shots were fired into a home on Heatherington Road around 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.
When officers arrived they discovered shell casings and bullet holes in the walls.
No injuries were reported.
Early Sunday morning, officers from the PiVOT team found the vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting.
After a search, police said they discovered and seized a loaded 9mm handgun.
Two men were arrested and weapons charges are expected as the investigation continues.
