Orleans pharmacy robbed for second time in seven weeks

The Ottawa Police Service is investigating another pharmacy robbery on St. Joseph Blvd at Place d'Orleans Drive.

The pharmacy, which was robbed in early April, was most recently robbed on May 27 at about 9:40 p.m.

Police said a man walked into the business and forced his way behind the counter. He made off with an undisclosed quantity of narcotics. 

The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

He was described as white, between 20- and 30-years-old, standing about 6' 1'' (185 cm), with a medium build, and an unshaven face. The suspect was wearing a dark hoodie, dark jeans and white shoes.

There's no word on whether or not the two robberies are connected.
