Ottawa Police arrest two people for April armed robbery in Nepean

A man and a woman have been arrested in relation to an armed robbery that  happened in the city’s south end last month.

The armed robbery happened on April 24 at about 10:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Prince of Wales Drive in Nepean near Deakin Street.

The duo held the three occupants at gunpoint and demanded money. 

According to Ottawa Police, the suspects also assaulted two of the occupants, took money and a cellphone and fled the area.

Ottawa Police arrested the two Thursday.

Reshaun Tomlinson, 22, and Paige Denis, 20 both of Ottawa were charged with:

  • two counts of armed robbery 
  • forcible confinement
  • possession of a weapon
  • extortion
  • aggravated assault

Tomlinson was also charged with:

  • three counts of possession of a scheduled I substance for trafficking 
  • possession of a schedule III substance for trafficking
  • possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing
  • possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing selling
