Teen killed in Hwy 401 crash near Morrisburg

The Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is identifying the man killed in a crash on Highway 401 near Morrisburg as Joshua Seguin of North Glengarry.

Investigators say the 17-year-old was driving a vehicle eastbound in the westbound lanes of the highway, between Upper Canada Road and County Road 31, when it collided head-on with a tractor trailer.

The incident happened Wednesday, around 9:37 a.m.

Seguin was the only person in his vehicle, and was pronounced deceased at scene. 

The truck driver was not injured.

OPP continue to investigate the collision with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators.

The section Highway 401 affected by the crash has since been re-opened.
