iPhone daylight saving bug affects alarm

Daylight saving time ends early Sunday morning and it could be a rude awakening for iPhone users.

Recurring weekday alarms on the phone will not recognize the change because of a software bug.

Digital lifestyle expert Mario Armstrong told CNN Apple will be fixing this for the future but it will take some time.

“They’re doing an updated fix to the software but they haven’t give us a date yet, a confirmed date. They said later this month.”

The iPhone clock apparently has no problem registering the change in time, the bug comes into effect when the recurring alarm is set.
