A mass e-mail to A mass e-mail to Ottawa U Students about a lockdown and a violent person turned out to be a test.
The school accidentally sent out the e-mail yesterday, to some three-thousand inboxes.
As soon as staff realized the mistake, they stopped the system from sending it to anyone else and posted a note on its website notifying people about the mistake.
