Leitrim Park and Ride lots opens Monday

Good news for south end commuters as the new Leitrim Park and Ride lots opens Monday with 292 parking spots available.

The lot is located on Gilligan Road, south of Leitrim, just west of Albion and will be serviced by OC Transpo Rapid Transit Route 99.

Customers using the lot have to press a button on the pole next to the bus stop. This will signal Route 99 buses on Leitrim Road to pull into the lot on their way into town. On the return bus trip passengers can ring the stop bell and the bus driver will serve the lot.
